Savour

1. Rave

Easy fun and yummy Christmas blend of Mexican, Ethiopian, and Costa Rican coffee. Tasting notes: Fruitcake, molasses, hazelnut. I would recommend for for espresso machine or stove top. I try their coffee regularly. Bright colours and fun packaging. Good range of Christmas gifts and bundles. Good pricing.

250g Bag, £8.95

2. Perky Blenders

Another fun roaster who have an amazing range of xmas gifts online. I’ve been drinking their festive blend of the month from Brazil and Colombia. Tasting notes: Stewed Dates, Pomegranate, Hazelnut Nougat. It can be brewed as espresso or filter. I’ve been drinking in my espresso-based drinks. They also have personalised labels you can order on the coffee pack which is such a cool idea! It would go really well with my book Coffee Creations - which they stock, so please do support this fellow small local business!

200g Bag, £10.50

3. Ozone Coffee

Their El Salvador x Nicuraguan christmas medium to dark blend comes in a stylish regal purple and gold foil (I love a gold foil) giftable festive box. Tasting notes of Chocolate coins, toffee sweets, shortbread.

220g Bag, £11

4. Plot Roasters

Their Christmas coffee ‘Sweet Jesus” from Pha Yar Gyi Kone, Myanmar has tasting notes of summer fruits, stone fruits, vanilla with a sherbet sweetness! This roastery has been a favourite of mine for quite a while, especially for their filter roasts. This year I have been receiving their ICON subscription which is not only a fantastic idea but a real treat. It allows people at home to taste some of the rarest and unique coffee beans in the world. Arriving monthly in 100-150g bags (around £20 per month subscription) its SUCH a great and affordable way to discover great coffee as well as get to know your own palate.

250g Bag, £12.50

5. Hermanos Colombian Roasters

Hermanos are as bright and fruity as the flavours of their Colombian coffee! I’ve had some of the most vibrant coffee from Hermanos over the last couple years. This years El Diviso Christmas roast has tasting notes of Chai Latte, Orange, Milk Chocolate, Cashews. With their medium roast, it’s recommended for filter coffee brews like Drip filter, or cafetière but also stovetop and espresso.

250g bag, £20

6. Climpson & Sons

One of the original London coffee cart stalls that has become an East London go to for their great coffee and community vibes. Their Christmas gift page is wonderfully diverse from socks, to equipment, dirty chai bundles (with their unique coffee concentrate) and Midnight Oil Coffee Liqueur espresso martini packs (both in decaf and regular). They also* stock my book Coffee Creations, so again, it’s great to support local and indie-owned businesses. They have a range of classic coffee blends and single origins to choose from as well as gift cards if you’re can’t decide.

7. Origin Coffee Roasters

Over the years I have seen them continue to grow and their coffees are always super consistent from long-standing partnerships, often using interesting processes and from obscure origins. Their Christmas blend of Rwandan and San Antonio (El Salvador) with tasting notes of: Praline, Clemintine, Figgy Pudding.

250g Bag, £12.50

8. The Girl in the Cafe

In collaboration with the wonderful Code 194 Coffee Roasters check it out here! A blend of two Brazils, tasting notes of smooth rich cocoa, with fruit and nuts.

250g Bag, £9.50

Splash

These are some of my favourite Coffee Cocktail related spirits plus some new ones I have discovered this year. Home bar must-haves!

1. Ramsbury Figgy Pudding Gin

This is a really new flavour from Ramsbury Distillery. Gin is probably my favourite spirit. I’ve been sipping it straight up over ice because it is that smooth and I admit, I’ve almost finished the bottle! It has all the christmasy flavours of dried fruit, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg with classic crisp London Dry Gin botanicals. I included it in my Christmassy Espresso G&T for Olive Magazine with a creative-come-classic christmas cranberry and rosemary ice cube. Delicious and refreshing.

£36 per bottle 700ml

2. Mr Black - Coffee Liqueur

This boutique coffee liqueur is a favourite amongst mixologists and it feels very luxe to have it at home. I love the classy bottle and originating from more or less my part of the globe, Australia (I’m from NZ) I’m not surprised it has become the popular choice in the UK. They also offer other special edition coffee liqueur spirits which I’m keen to try, like the Mezcal or the Rum Coffee Liqueur. The must have for any kind of Espresso Martini Classic or variation! Experiment!

£30 per bottle 700ml

3. Discarded Spirits Cascara Vermouth

I’ve been able to attend some informative workshops with them, and this is an incredible company with some really interesting products made from byproducts that are truly working sustainability at every angle possible. I was lucky to have them at my book launch with my friend Sam Trevethyen, their ambassador shaking up a storm of espresso martinis and coffee negronis from my book. Cascara is the dried skin and pulp off the coffee cherry. Its sort of cherry tea-like. I’ve been drinking their vermouth in my negronis at home. Its a sweet grape like flavour, but very light. I like how it balances the bitterness of the Campari, and I don’t even need to add coffee to it.

500ml £17.50

4. Nio Espresso Martini

Earlier this year, I discovered Nio’s “Postcards from Hawaii” collection—a chic box of four fruity summer cocktails that’s as innovative as it is convenient. The slim, card-like packaging is perfect for travel (yes, I packed a couple for Italy and enjoyed cocktails in my Airbnb!) and keeping in the fridge or bookshelf! With an impressive range of options, you can choose by your favourite spirit base or create a bespoke box. They also offer curated sets like a Coffee Box and a Negroni Box, both on my wish-list. Bonus: they taste as good as they look! Perfect for gifting or treating yourself to effortless indulgence. They have Christmas boxsets available too.

5. Climpson & Sons Midnight Oil (Coffee Liqueur)

The name says it all—Midnight Oil is perfect for those late-night espresso martini cravings. Climpson’s impressive range includes coffee liqueurs, concentrates, pre-made espresso martinis (even decaf!), and a Midnight Oil cocktail set with coffee, making it a fantastic gift. Many winning Great Taste Awards. With DIY espresso martini parties trending, this range is ideal for hosting in style!

£37 for 700ml

6. Tia Maria (with Vanilla)

I served Tia Maria with Vanilla at my book launch, and it was a hit! It’s vegan, so it feels safe to serve anyone without worry, and the vanilla adds a sweeter, smoother touch compared to others on my list—perfect for festive cocktails and always good to have in the home bar. Available on Amazon.

£17 for 1 litre

7. Pathfinder

The only non-alcoholic pick on my list, Pathfinder Hemp and Root is such an interesting one. With its bold, earthy flavours, it’s perfect for sipping over ice or adding depth to a coffee cocktail. A great option for Christmas that feels grown-up and unique - ideal for guests skipping the booze but not the fun!

For an expresso martini, you could try replacing the coffee liqueur with Pathfinder and using a non-alcoholic gin from Seedlip or Tanquery.

£39.99 per bottle

Splurge

These are a mix of Gadgets and items to make you or your loved ones feel special and pampered at Christmas.

1. Up Circle - Face Serum & Eye Cream - Caffeinated Duo £37.99

If you love coffee and skincare, this duo is worth trying. Made with upcycled coffee extracts, it’s great for boosting circulation and reducing puffiness. Caffeine has been used for centuries to improve skin texture and tone! I use it every other week, and it always feels like a treat. I like the results, my skin looks smooth and under my eyes look hydrated in the morning. It’s affordable, effective, and tastefully packaged. This with a bag of coffee would be a cute gift.

2. Melitta gooseneck kettle £25

If you’re making pour-over or manual filter coffee with a regular kettle, it’s time to upgrade. A gooseneck kettle gives you better water flow control and is much safer to pour. This Melitta kettle is a simple stovetop option that’s the most affordable on the market that I’ve seen that is reliable, and looks great. Mine has lasted years - I even take it on trips! A must-have for any coffee lover. Great to water plants with too!

3. Cafe Concetto - Reusable coffee cup £19

If you’ve followed me online, you’ll know my Cafe Concetto cup goes everywhere with me. It keeps drinks hot (or icy) far longer than I usually need—but that’s perfect for my forgetful moments! On hot nights, I fill it with ice water, and sometimes the ice hasn’t even melted by morning. I fill with filter coffee and take it daily on my walks, and without fail, people comment on how sleek and classy it looks - especially when I use it for takeaway coffees. I couldn’t do without mine! It would be a really lovely gift. You could even get his and hers as they come in gold, gun-shot silver, and rose.

4. Reuseable Filter Disc - for Aeropress £19

For that lover or friend who uses an Aeropress Coffee maker. This is another product from Cafe Concetto. It replaces the paper filters, is very useful and convenient. I have two: fine and super fine. My go-to is the superfine. Great for travel. No flying rogue paper filters flying round.

5. La Gent Yield Amber Glass French Press £85

A French press is a Christmas essential - perfect for serving great coffee to a crowd. While I’m usually cautious about all-glass designs, this one is too gorgeous to ignore. With its retro, mid-century modern vibe, it’s ideal for design lovers, and the range includes stunning colours like green, grey and blue. It’s so beautiful, it’s made it onto my own wish list!

6. Perky Blenders x Soapsmith coffee exfoliating scrub £20

Coffee and aromatics - a dream combo! This scrub is packed with caffeine to smooth and tone, leaving my skin feeling incredible. Sometimes it can seem a bit messy but you only need a small amount, and when used with water it lasts a while. I use it on my dry legs and arms, and the difference is immediate—dead skin cells gone, soft and hydrated skin in their place. Plus, the rich oils give it a luxurious feel. It’s a real treat for anyone who loves their coffee as much as their skincare!

7. The Morning DREAM - milk frothing steam wand machine £320

If you’ve ever wanted to perfect your latte art but use capsule coffee, this machine is a game-changer. The Morning DREAM pairs perfectly with any pod or bean-to-cup machine, so you don’t have to worry about the espresso—just focus on the fun part! It’s the first steam wand-only machine to deliver the right pressure, temperature, and speed, all while looking sleek. With a touch-and-press screen, you can adjust the temperature for any milk - whether whole, semi-skimmed, or plant-based—and even manually control it. It uses an infrared thermometer to accurately . I’ve got one for Christmas and can’t wait to start using it in the new year!
